So it is spring break in Texas! I love the fact that both my boys share the same spring break again. That means the Grahams are off on another adventure. But where in the world should we go??? If Scott and I had our way, I’m sure we would be cruising, but that isn’t the boys thing.
John was quick to remind us how long it had been since we had been skiing…about 10 years! He fell in love with it when he was in 4th grade, broke his leg on the slopes and returned the following season. So yes, we should probably take John skiing! My only hesitation was that I was for certain, I would never be able to keep up with him and I didn’t want him skiing alone. Easy solution: Bring a friend! “But how do you invite just one”, he says? Inviting all his roommates made the most sense. And not to leave Kyle out, he invited a roommate as well. So there you have it….the cast of characters….John + 3 Aggie roommates and Kyle + 1 Aggie roommate. And of course middle aged parents eager to spend time with their sons and their friends!
A special family took me skiing at Heavenly Valley in Tahoe for the first time when I was in college….special thanks to King and Cathy Graham. It blew my mind that this uncoordinated Texas girl could actually ski without falling. I was in awe of the all the mountains, trees and the silence of the snow. I am blessed to be able to pay that experience forward to a whole gaggle of Aggies. Gig ‘Em!

I just told Will this week that he can bring friends to the lake house. Staying close to grown kids means connecting with their friends!
