Scott and I attended the Collin County Children’s Advocacy Center Gala last night at the Star in Frisco. We think this might easily be the 10th gala we have have attended. It’s something we look forward to every year. Not only do we enjoy seeing our friends, but we truly believe in their mission. They provide safety, healing, and justice for children victimized by abuse or neglect in our community.

I caught a pretty cute pic of our friends Andrea and her hubby, Todd on their way in to the event. Andrea and my Scott started EY on the same day! Andrea was a intern from UT and Scott as a first year staff from A&M. She likes to give Scott hints about gifts for me and she is a crazy dog lady, so of course I will love her forever. 🙂
I know I’m supposed to love all the silent auction items and the free flowing drinks, but my favorite thing every year are the flowers! The lights, the picket fence, the whole thing is just beautiful.

I’m in awe of the generosity of our community. Donations for the center flow like the drinks!!! I caught this fun pic of the table next to us winning a bid on a over the top auction item…. a Breckenridge vacation for 18!
